Bonsai tree choice and posting plants?
What would make a good Bonsai For Beginners that would also look professional. Also if you wanted to post plants like bonsai how would you do it (wouldn’t being in a airless dark box kill it)?

If you are a beginner, you are better off growing one that has already been started. In the spring and maybe even right now, stores like Wal-Mart and Home Depot will be full of little bonsai plants. Maybe not the best selection but it will give you an idea of how to take care of it and maintain the shape/size. You won’t have to wait a year for them to grow from seed either. I think I picked up my first bonsai for under $10.
If you want to grow your own bonsai there is no dark airless box, I’m not sure where you heard of that from. A bonsai is just a regular tree, only you restrict how big it’s roots can grow by having it in a small pot, and lots of trimming/shaping.
